I’m a watercolor artist, illustrator, stationery designer and calligrapher based in sunny Southern California.
More often than not, you’ll find me working in my at-home studio space, (aka our second bedroom), with my pup Riley curled up underneath my feet. I married my husband, Ben, in June of 2016 and that’s really where my journey into the world of design and creative entrepreneurship began.
To be honest, up until recently, my only career goal was to own my own business. I didn’t have any idea as to what kind of business I wanted to have, I just knew that the traditional corporate route was not for me. Even while I was growing up I really didn’t consider myself an “artist”, so never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I’d be here today pursuing a creative career in design. Mind you, I got my degree in PR and Psychology but after graduation I started that entrepreneurial hustle, haven't looked back and now I run on equal parts blind ambition and coffee.
I am a self-taught artist with a mad love for elegant, timeless yet modern pieces that are a reflection of you and your story. I’ve built my foundations on learning traditional Copperplate calligraphy with a pointed pen and branched into my own modern style from there. I took the same plunge with watercolor and fell in love with the magic of it. Now I use these skills to design meaningful pieces for engaged couples.
I’m here to offer my expertise and help you artistically tell your story, to invite your closest family and friends to an event that shows how special your love truly is. Custom stationery is an investment. It’s what will set the tone for your big day… a little sneak peek to the main attraction if you will. It will excite your guests and most importantly will portray the uniqueness of your love for each other.
If you're still reading (YOU'RE A CHAMP), you might as well get to know me a little better right?
A Few Fun Facts:
1. I’m terrified of birds. TERRIFIED. There’s something about the wing flap that triggers my flight response. I honestly just can’t.
2. I’m an obsessive book collector. My dream home would have a dedicated library room with bookshelves from floor to ceiling. (I blame Beauty & the Beast for this one). For now my bedside table/floor will do.
3. My fingers are double jointed and I kick myself every time I have to post something that involves my hands because it’s just not pretty. They don’t tell you that if you become an artist who uses Instagram, you also become a hand model! LOL
4. If I could, I’d literally eat sushi for every meal. Or donuts. Those are basically my only two food groups.

WOW, is not a big enough word for what Lo is capable of! She was able to take my little vision and turn it into a beautiful masterpiece. Her ability to incorporate the theme, color, our style, and my favorite part, the venue, into the invitation was unbelievable. She was thorough and always checked in with me to make sure I felt the same way about the direction she wanted to take. Guests are still talking about the invitations! I do not regret doing custom invitations as it is such a great way to set the mood for your guests. It gives them excitement for what is to come. I cannot thank Lo enough and will forever cherish our wedding invitation artwork.
